Name: Debbie Message: We went riding yesterday. My new saddle is wonderful! Normally I have sore butt bones after I ride, even for a couple hours, but after riding for 3 1/2 hours yesterday, I didn't feel like I went riding! Even today, no soreness AT ALL! The seat is so cushy and the stirrups are turned correctly so no sore knees - usually with newer saddles, this is a problem. We climbed up some pretty steep hills, so I was happy to have the breast collar although my saddle felt great the whole time. I only had to tighten the cinch one time during the ride. My horse was very happy too and really stepped out nicely. No rubbed or dry spots at all! I'm sending a picture of us on top of the hill behind my house. My place in on the far left - it looks so small from up there! Now I just need my pad....Thanks for your help!
Name: Beth Message: Needless to say, I am very pleased with my new saddle. My trainer is also very impressed with the quality and the looks of the saddle. Many of the features she finds very practical. For instance, she is impressed with the way the girth ties up on both sides for comfort and stability and how easy it is for the rider to adjust while in the saddle, the consistency in the thickness of the leather throughout (she compared it to some of the more expensive saddles she has), how light the saddle is, the open pommel, the design of the fenders and stirrups, and the fact that the breast collar and the crupper are included in the price. She is even impressed with the saddle pad and how it has leather underneath! That's a first for her. Not only does it protect the pad, but she said the leather must eventually conform to the horse's back and become extremely comfortable. She even compared it to working gloves; she would rather have soft leather gloves protecting her hands while she works than fleece or cloth gloves. She mentioned to her husband that she is seriously thinking about investing in several of these saddles for training purposes because they would be easier for her riding students to handle and because of all the safety and comfort features. My horse loves the saddle too! She has never had a breast collar or crupper on before, and she tolerated everything well. The saddle really is extremely comfortable.

I went and saddled up my Tennessee Walking Horse, Shadow, who usually has a stumbles and has a sore back from the saddle because of his extremely high withers. As soon as I mounted up, I could feel the difference immediately! Shadow didn't stumble once throughout the ride, and I could feel him better with this saddle than any other I've ever tried on him, even English saddles! He tried to spook a few times, but before he could bolt or do a quick sidestep, I felt him hesitate and move, and I stayed right there with him! Name: Sandy Message: I wanted to tell you how much I like the saddle! It has literally changed my relationship with Spice. She is gaiting beautifully and rarely breaks gait now. I was riding in the arena yesterday with a 16 hand TWH and he was having trouble keeping up with my little Spice! She actually seems to look forward to being ridden! Several people at the ranch where I board have tried the saddle and are interested in purchasing one including the lady with the TWH! I take my Peruvian Paso on 5 hour long trail rides through brush, hills, rocks, canyons, and I am never sore. This saddle is awesome. It is light, and I used to be a bareback rider as a kid and you almost get the same feel only with padding. I can feel when Mario is going to react to something and I can move with him and not be caught off guard. I keep him in the rocky hills of Hemet and this saddle makes me feel safe and secure. I have had different saddles on him and he will definitely act up if anything makes him uncomfortable. He acts perfect with this saddle and is not restricted in his movement in anyway. Out of laziness and habit the last couple times I have ridden I just grabbed my old saddle and was frustrated with my Paso--pace, pace, pace, and when I was asking for gait it was too fast for a beginner, helter-skelter, we're just not getting it. Last night when I saddled up I decided to use the new saddle, and WHAT A DIFFERENCE! I could keep him in a controlled, slow consistent corto, and when he did get pacey I could correct him with no big deal of speeding up and getting all out of sorts. With the old saddle correction caused him to rush and get hollow backed, causing more pace. This new saddle sure looks like a keeper, and it's so good looking. Now it's time for some matching appointments such as saddle bags, cantle bags, and canteen; how about it?
